Delivery and Return

Shipping

We will expedite your order as soon as possible. All orders are normally shipped from our warehouse within 2-3 business days, except around Christmas, where expedition time will be longer as the company is closed for the holidays. These orders will be shipped first working day after New Year.

All orders are subject to availability. When your order is placed, we will send you an order confirmation.

All orders within Denmark is shipped with GLS. All other orders are shipped with UPS. Orders can be tracked on www.gls.dk or www.ups.com. Once the parcel has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

Orders will be delivered Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for at receipt, except if another option is provided by the courier. Due to courier restrictions and the risk of credit card fraud, we do not allow delivery to PO boxes.

 

If your order consists of several items we reserve the right to split the delivery. This can happen if certain items are delayed at the time of ordering. In the event of split delivery, you will receive tracking for each parcel. You will not be charged for any additional delivery costs.

Shipping prices Shipping costs are subject to where the package is shipped. The prices in the below are used unless otherwise announced on the front page of bellaballou.com, e.g. during a free freight campaign.

 

Denmark: Free shipping on orders of at least EURO 50. Shipping costs for orders below EURO 50 will be EURO 10.

Rest EU: Free shipping on orders of at least EURO 50. Shipping costs for orders below EURO 50 will be EURO 10. Rest of Europe: Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Iceland, Croatia, Montenegro. Free shipping on orders of at least EURO 65. Shipping costs for orders below EURO 65 will be EURO 20. Rest of world: Free shipping on orders of at least EURO 150. Shipping costs for orders below EURO 150 will be EURO 40.

 

 

 

Returns

When you shop at Bellaballou.com, there is a 14 days return period in which you can let us know that you wish to return your purchase to us. The 14-day period begins on the day you receive the item. If the period ends on a bank holiday, a Saturday, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, it is extended to the next working day.

After receiving your item, you may only use it in a way that allows you to determine the type of product, its features and the way it works. In other words, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it if you wish to return it to us. In order to make use of your right to return an item, you must let us know about your intention clearly and unambiguously and no later than 14 days after receipt of the item. We expect you to send back the items as soon as possible after informing us of your intention to return them. You must send them back no later than five (5) days after deciding to return them in order to make use of the return policy.

If you wish to exchange your item for a different colour or size, please return the unwanted item and place a new order. 

When returning items you should ensure that they are packaged carefully, as you are liable for the package/items until we have received them. Save your receipt from the courier/postal service and the track and trace number, if applicable.

If the original packaging is missing, this may be judged to impair the value of the item. If you want to be sure of getting all of your money back, we recommend that you return the item in the original packaging with any associated tags and labels.

You must cover the cost of return postage yourself.

Returning an item is at your own risk. You can send it as a normal parcel. Upon returning, it is your responsibility to ensure that the item is packaged correctly.

Include proof of purchase and the returns slip when returning items Include a copy of your order confirmation or other proof of purchase – e.g. your order number.

Refunds The return process usually takes 14 days. When we have completed this process, we will issue a refund using the original payment method. This can take up to five working days. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until we have received the goods.

Please note that any fees or taxes placed on the item will not be returned, nor will shipping costs be returned. However, for countries in the EU, any added VAT will be included in the return amount.

Defects - if something is wrong with the item

You can claim to have a faulty item repaired, exchanged, refunded or reduced, depending on the specific case. There is a 24-month period in which you can return faulty goods.

It is, of course, a requirement that the faulty goods claim is warranted, and that the fault has not arisen due to incorrect use of the product, regular wear and tear or other damage-causing behaviour.

You must contact us within a ’reasonable’ time:

You must submit your faulty goods claim within a ‘reasonable’ time after discovering the fault. We recommend that you submit your claim as quickly as possible, and within two months of the fault being discovered.

You can submit a faulty goods claim by contacting us via email at info@bellaballou.com.

We ask you to do that following so that we can investigate your claim:

  1. Send us a brief description of the nature of the damage or fault. Please note that you should email customer service as soon as you discover the fault.
  2. Send 3-5 photos with the description, to document the fault. The fault should be clearly visible in the photos. You must also ensure that your photos show the entire product – both the front and the back.
  3. Email the photos and description to info@bellaballou.com
  4. Include the order number from when the item was purchased – or include a copy of the order confirmation/receipt.
  5. Once we have received your photos, we will process your claim as quickly as possible.
