DANISH DESIGN
BEADS Scarf is a square silk scarf where a photographic moment is transformed into an artistic expression. The motif is based on a photo taken in Hong Kong of semiprecious stones strung on a thread, captured in an urban moment – then edited in Photoshop to emphasize the rhythm of forms and the depth of colours.
The result is an abstract composition where the graphic meets the sensual.
The beads' sheen, the lines of the strings and the edited colour play give the Scarf character and visual intensity. A modern textile jewel referencing both jewelry art and the energy of the metropolis.
The Scarf is produced in the softest Silk Crepe de Chine and can be styled in many different ways, for example around the neck, in the hair, on the bag, as a silk top, a COOL belt or as a decorative bracelet or glasses cord.
